Sanctuary Senior Living Advisors, founded by Genai O’Brien, is a trusted and compassionate resource serving families throughout New Hampshire, Southern Maine, and surrounding areas. Genai brings over 30 years of experience caring for older adults, beginning in high school as a dietary aide in a nursing home and continuing as a certified nurse’s aide while putting herself through college. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communications from Salem State College, with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in English, and has since built a diverse and meaningful career in healthcare.

Her background includes working as a caregiver, serving as a patient educator for a heart monitoring company, and managing an assisted living community. She also spent over a decade as an Eligibility Advocate, helping uninsured hospital patients across the country access critical state and federal benefits. In addition to her professional experience, Genai has personally cared for her own grandparents, giving her a deep understanding of the emotional and practical challenges families face. With a hands on, personalized approach, she is committed to guiding families with honesty, clarity, and genuine care as they navigate senior living decisions.
